Weekend in the Hamptons
This weekend we were in East Hampton at Ford's mommy's mommy's house. It was a delightful getaway. Asa adapted quickly to the country lifestyle, spending most of his days outside in the pool, playing in the grass, and chasing Trey doggy around. He even learned how to navigate stairs. Mommy and daddy had great fun watching Asa really enjoy himself. We took video footage of the highlights, but here are a few photos.
Asa makes sure mommy has her ponytail holder. Those are the driving directions crumpled at his feet.
The boys in the sun. That Radio Flyer wagon was the best toy ever. Ford and Asa took turns riding in it across the back lawn while the other pushed. On day three they both wanted to push at the same time and a bit of a baby scuffle ensued. Mommy and daddy are working on teaching Asa the meaning of "gentle."
Sunny boy.
Here's Asa pushing with no passenger.
Each day ended in a much-needed bath. Lately Asa prefers standing up in the tub. Luckily there was a hand shower!
