Happy Fourth of July!
Rather than the usual barbeque out of town, today we had a very NYC July Fourth: We headed to Shake Shack for our requisite grilled burgers.
Here's a very excited daddy and a somewhat skeptical Asa as we begin our adventure.
Note: Daddy is off work this week for an in-town vacation, thus the hairy face.
Asa is sporting his new kicks for the trip.
As always, there was a long line. Our wait was 35 minutes. Asa doesn't quite get the concept of waiting for food. This is his waiting face.
Once we got our food, we were so hungry we put the camera away to focus on eating. Sorry! Instead, we'll wrap things up with our new view of the Macy's fireworks, which Asa slept soundly through.
